St. Louis Community Foundation to Host Bridgeton Landfill Community Project Fund Community Meetings
The St. Louis Community Foundation will host four community meetings as part of the information gathering process for the Bridgeton Landfill Community Project Fund. The community meetings are meant to provide community stakeholders an opportunity to provide input into the potential uses of the Fund, specifically in the identified areas of:
- Physical Health
- Behavioral Health
- Healthy Living & Community Greening
- Basic Needs
- Youth & Family Services
- Public Safety

About the Bridgeton Landfill Community Project Fund
The Bridgeton Landfill Community Project Fund is the result of a settlement reached between the State of Missouri and Bridgeton Landfill, LLC, Allied Services, LLC, and Republic Services, Inc. on June 29, 2018. Among the terms of the Consent Judgment is the creation of a $12.5 million Bridgeton Landfill Community Project Fund. The purpose of the fund is to contribute to the betterment of the environment, public health and safety, and the welfare of the people in the communities near the Bridgeton Landfill. Learn more…
