STLCF Receives Outstanding Philanthropic Organization Award

Celebrating Philanthropy in St. Louis. The St. Louis Community Foundation (STLCF) was recently honored with the Outstanding Philanthropic Organization award at the Association of Fundraising Professionals 38th Annual National Philanthropy Day Awards Luncheon on Friday, November 9 at Union Station.

The Outstanding Philanthropic Organization award recognizes a foundation or organization that has demonstrated outstanding commitment through financial support and through the encouragement and motivation of others to take leadership roles in philanthropy and national, international, or community involvement.

“The St. Louis Community Foundation is honored to receive this award,” said Amelia Bond, President and CEO of the Foundation. “We have grown over the years and will continue to support our community and the work of all of you – the nonprofits who make our region strong.”

Additional awards were given to the following:

  • Outstanding Philanthropists – Jim and Cathy Berges
  • Outstanding Fundraising Volunteer – Jan Goldstein
  • Outstanding Young Professional – Sarah Wiley
  • Outstanding Fundraising Professional – Martin Leifeld
  • Outstanding Youth in Philanthropy – Brooke Waller
