STLCF Board Members Honored For Distinguished Service

At its December 2018 board meeting, the St. Louis Community Foundation honored outgoing Board Chair Tom Collins and Board Members Dennis Jacknewitz and Win Reed for their distinguished years of service.

Tom provided outstanding leadership and guidance to the St. Louis Community Foundation for nine years. During that time, Collins served as the chair of the board; board secretary; chair and member of the executive committee; chair and member of the Investment Committee; and member of the governance, the donor engagement and gift planning, and the community engagement committees.

A member of the St. Louis Community Foundation board of directors for 18 years, Dennis has seen the Foundation grow over the years. He has served as board secretary; member of the executive committee; and member of the governance, the donor engagement and gift planning, and community engagement committees.

Providing thought leadership and guidance for the past nine years, Win has been instrumental in the success and growth of the Foundation. Win has served as a member of the executive committee; chair and member of the governance and the investment committees; and member of the community engagement, and the donor engagement and gift planning committees.  In addition, Win has been committed to the expansion and growth of the Foundation’s initiative, Invest STL, a regional community development initiative.

The St. Louis Community Foundation Board of Directors and staff acknowledge and extend their profound appreciation to Tom Collins, Dennis Jacknewitz, and Win Reed for their many years of service to the St. Louis Community Foundation and to the cause of creating a community foundation that is an unbiased resource with unparalleled knowledge of the needs of both donors and the community, serving those who believe that true philanthropy goes beyond making a simple donation – it is a commitment to making a difference.
