St. Louis Welcome Fund Donor Education Event

St. Louis Community Foundation recently hosted a donor education event on the St. Louis Welcome Fund: A Fund to Support Refugees. Click here to view a recording of the event on Youtube.

The speakers at the event were Betsy Cohen, Executive Director, St. Louis Mosaic Project; Ben Zeno, Strategist, Missouri Foundation for Health; and Elizabeth George, Director of Community Investment, St. Louis Community Foundation.

The goal of the event was to provide insight into the St. Louis Welcome Fund and how the St. Louis Community Foundation and funding partners have convened to support refugees in the St. Louis region.

In 2021, St. Louis became home to a record number of refugees and asylum seekers, including approximately 600 people fromAfghanistan. St. Louis continues to welcome hundreds of additional individuals and families seeking safety in the U.S. Click here to learn more about the St. Louis Welcome Fund.
