St. Louisans Step Up On Give STL Day, and Support Region’s Nonprofits with Gusto!

Presented by the Berges Family Foundation and powered by the St. Louis Community Foundation, Give STL Day raised $4.5 million for 977 local nonprofits through 38,570 individual donations.

This year’s results shattered last year’s record-setting finish when more than $3 million were raised for 843 nonprofits.  Since its inception in 2014, Give STL Day has raised more than $17.5 million for nonprofits throughout the region from O’Fallon, Ill., to O’Fallon, Mo.

“With so many nonprofit organizations reporting fundraising event cancellations and other disruptions because of the coronavirus, we really did not know what to expect this year,” said Amelia Bond, president and CEO of the St. Louis Community Foundation. “But true to form, donors throughout the region stepped up and delivered for the hundreds of nonprofits that do so much for our area.”

Sponsored Power Hours added to the excitement throughout the day and helped boost nonprofit contributions at designated times, Bond added.

In addition to the Berges Family Foundation, the following organizations also lent support: Archford Capital Strategies, CliftonLarsonAllen Wealth Advisors, Gifting Insider, Missouri Foundation for Health, and Cardinals Care.
