Give STL Day Trainings Moved to Webinars
In the wake of the recent crisis of COVID-19, the Community Foundation has taken a proactive approach and has cancelled the remaining in-person Give STL Day trainings.
The Give STL Day Training – What is Give STL Day & How to Make the Most of Give STL Day for Your Nonprofit that was scheduled for March 19, 2020, has been moved to a webinar format. The webinar will take place on Wednesday, March 25 at 11 a.m. The training will focus on all administrative functions, prize details, how to access donor information, as well as answer questions that you may have about the day.
The webinar will be recorded and made available after the training. It will be posted to www.givestlday.org and in the Resources section of the nonprofit dashboard of the Give STL Day profile.

The Peer-to-Peer Learning training scheduled for March 31, 2020, has been canceled and will not be rescheduled at this time.
The Give STL Day Training webinar that is scheduled for March 26 with Julia Campbell, How to Mobilize Social Media Ambassadors for Your Nonprofit (On Giving Day and Beyond!) is still scheduled.

Upcoming Give STL Day Dates & Deadlines
We are currently working with our technology partner on our deadlines for Give STL Day, with the understanding that some dates may need to change based on what is happening in our community with COVID-19.
If any of the dates change, we will notify nonprofits as soon as possible, but as of March 20, 2020, the following dates will apply:
- April 3 – All edits to nonprofit profiles should complete and published by April 3. This will be key in order for us to open the platform for Early Giving, which begins April 6. Registration closes for nonprofit participation.
- April 6 – Early Giving Begins – the Give STL Day website will begin accepting donations during the Early Giving period April 6 – May 6.
- May 6 – Early Giving Ends
- May 7 – Give STL Day
