BJC Give Back Initiative Partners with STLCF for Second Year
The St. Louis Community Foundation (STLCF) and BJC Healthcare came together again for the BJC Gives Back, a program in which BJC invites their employees to nominate nonprofit organizations to receive a grant to support grassroots, local organizations with a shared mission of improving health, education, child/youth development, senior/disabled support or community-building.
Through this partnership, BJC works with the Foundation to administer the grant process. The Foundation’s grants management team reviews applications, evaluates and makes recommendations on how to allocate funds.
With more than 100 nominations from their team members, BJC turned to the St. Louis Community Foundation to review, evaluate and make recommendations on how to allocate funds. This year a total of $35,000 was distributed to 16 nonprofits. on distribution of the $35,000 charitable donation.
