Help the City of St. Louis Mayor Prioritize Direct Aid

Help the Mayor Prioritize Direct Aid

To Our St. Louis Community,

Like all of you, the St. Louis Community Foundation has spent the last year reacting to the ever-changing impacts of COVID-19.

This pandemic has affected all communities across our region and we, collectively, continue to provide ongoing support for those who are being underserved through our COVID-19 Regional Response Fund. To date the Fund has raised $6.8 million and granted approximately $6.5 million to regional nonprofits serving local communities who continue to be disproportionately affected by the coronavirus crisis.

We invite you to review our COVID-19 Impact Report which highlights how initial funds were granted and how nonprofits continue to respond to our community’s emerging needs.

Help the Mayor Prioritize Direct Aid

To continue to support St. Louis during this time, The City of St. Louis Mayor, Tishaura Jones, has issued a survey which seeks your help in prioritizing a first emergency round of Direct Aid from the federal funds provided to St. Louis. Below is a link to a very short survey asking you which large buckets of spending are the most urgent and important right now.

All of us at the Foundation share an abiding dedication to our community and we thank you, not only for your part in our region’s COVID-19 response, but also for your ongoing interest and effort in making St. Louis a vibrant and equitable region for all.

Sincerely,
Amelia Bond
