Your Foundation Remains Open – But Operations are Changing

The Community Foundation has a tremendous obligation to continue to do business and fulfill our mission as stewards of donor funds. It is essential that we continue to support our region’s hardworking nonprofits, during this time of great need, while also ensuring the safety of our employees, visitors, and others. As a result, we have altered our operations as follows:

  • Foundation employees who are sick (e.g., respiratory illness symptoms and/or fever) or living with sick individuals are required to stay home.
  • All Foundation staff have been given the option to telecommute and work remotely as needed. This will not adversely affect our abilities to conduct business as usual.
  • The Foundation office is currently open; however, as this situation evolves, we may close our office in which case we will notify our mailing list and update our social media accounts.
  • Meetings scheduled at the Foundation will be moved to conference calls when possible. If meetings need to occur in person, meeting groups must be fewer than 10 individuals, preferably less than five.
