St. Louis Community Foundation, Foundation Initiatives, nominated for a 2020 Moonshot Award

The St. Louis Community Foundation (STLCF) has been nominated for a Moonshot Award due to the response and establishment of the COVID-19 Regional Response Fund. LaunchCode’s Moonshot Awards recognize the efforts of those working toward new solutions to better our St. Louis community. STLCF is nominated in the Commitment Award category which honors the organizations and individuals working hard, and without compromise or backing down in the face of tough odds.

Several other individuals and initiatives affiliated with STLCF were also nominated for awards.

Spirit of St. Louis Women’s Fund, a component fund of the St. Louis Community Foundation, is nominated in the Collaboration Award category. This category honors the organizations and individuals joining forces in unexpected, unconventional ways to work across fault lines for a better STL.

David Leipholtz of the Center for Civic Research and Innovation, housed at STLCF, is nominated in the Collaboration Award category. This category honors the organizations and individuals joining forces in unexpected, unconventional ways to work across fault lines for a better St. Louis.

Invest STL, uplifted by the St. Louis Community Foundation, is nominated in the Inclusion Award Category. This category honors the organizations & individuals at the forefront of inclusion, advancing toward an equitable St. Louis region.
