The St. Louis Community Foundation earned its accreditation from the National Standards for U.S. Community Foundations™, which means our Community Foundation meets the highest standards for philanthropic excellence.

Compliance with National Standards affirms the St. Louis Community Foundation’s commitment to excellence and accountability, and provides assurances to donors, nonprofits, and other interested organizations that the Foundation has sound policies and practices in place.

To receive National Standards accreditation, the St. Louis Community Foundation’s policies and procedures were evaluated based on more than 40 standards in six key areas of community foundation operations. These areas included donor services, investment management, grantmaking, and program administration.
